As an ENFJ and an Enneagram 3 I value community and acting as a role model for those around me. I’m highly organized, motived and achievement-oriented. I’m a natural leader whose charisma and interpersonal skills make me a leader regardless of the situation.
Values and Beliefs
Diversity & Inclusion
Through a commitment to self-reflection and continuous learning I am dedicated to an action oriented approach to diversity, inclusion and equity. By participating in an ongoing learning of how established power structures and institutional discrimination is played out in seemingly ‘normal processes and actions’ I work to better understand how I contribute to these systems and how I can actively work to dismantle them.
Ambition
Whether it’s taking on a big renovation, advocating for equality, or a new professional project I am excited and energized by the audacious opportunities that come with challenging projects. I pride myself with being able to quickly understand and adapt to complex issues, being able to connect skills to opportunities and facilitating groups that achieve results that exceed expectations.
Empathy
My biggest take away from my Bachelor of Social Work was learning how to meet people where they are. Life experiences influence every decision we make, and no two stories are the same. When we approach relationships with a lens of empathy we can better understand why others operate the way they do. Relationships rooted in understanding lead to a more equitable society, which in turn, is a more innovative, productive and healthier society.
Passions and Hobbies

Family
Whether it’s Sunday night dinner at my grandparents (pre-COVID days), shopping with my mom or watching Dr. Who with the kids, my family is what motivates me to do the work I do. They are my energy givers and cheerleaders.

Exercise
My motivation for exercise has traditionally been the swag bag and medal you get for participating in various races, or the comradery you get in group classes. Recently though, I’ve come to find my own rewards dedicating time to purposeful movement on my own.

Baking
Nothing helps to build relationships like a batch of freshly made baked goods put in the breakroom or shared with neighbours. Banana Chocolate Chip muffins are what I’m most known for, but chocolate chip cookies or a lemon blueberry cake are definitely my favourites.

Renovations
My partner knows when I start a conversation with “I was thinking…” it means there is another renovation on the way, and I think it always raises a little nervousness as to what’s coming. But nothing beats the feeling of finishing a renovation, stepping back and knowing you created a beautiful, functional space for your family.
